Where your photo goes
From your phone, directly to the computer at the counter you scanned. It is encrypted on the way. It is not uploaded to a website, an app, or a cloud drive. No copy is made anywhere in between.
What this website knows
This site runs a small “introduction” service that helps your phone and the counter's computer find each other. It sees only: a random session code, the time you connected, and the name you typed (passed straight through to the operator's screen and then forgotten). It never sees your document, and it does not keep your name.
How long the counter keeps it
The operator chooses a window — usually a few hours. When it runs out, their computer deletes your files automatically. If the operator marks you as done sooner, the files are erased right then. You can ask them to do that in front of you.
Messages and lists from the counter
The operator can send you a short message (“the photo is blurry, please retake”) and a list of what to photograph. They can also send a file back to your phone — a finished form or a receipt. All of that travels on the same direct, encrypted link as your photos. This website does not see any of it either.
You check before anything is sent
Photos you take are held on your own phone first, in a list you can see. Nothing leaves your phone until you tap Send. You can remove any photo from that list before you do.
What you should still do
Send only the documents that this service actually needs. Once a file is on the operator's computer, it is in their hands — the same as handing over a photocopy, except this one deletes itself.
Your rights (India, DPDP Act 2023)
- Purpose limitation — your document may be used only for the service you asked for at this counter.
- Storage limitation — it is deleted on a timer, with no “keep forever” default anywhere in the system.
- Consent — you see this explanation and tap to agree before the camera opens. You can stop at any point by closing the page.
- Erasure — ask the operator to mark you done; their copy is erased immediately.
- Grievance — the operator is the data fiduciary for what they receive. Raise it with them first; the counter's name is shown on your phone throughout.
Cookies and tracking
None for you. The page you use on your phone sets no cookies and loads no analytics. The only cookie on this site is the operator's sign-in to their own dashboard.
